In 2013 our loan was sold from HSBC to Caliber Home Loans who never called us and never responded to us when we told them that we were in chapter 7 bankrupsy. I was working part time making a good salary about 50K annually all benefits paid by me; and my property taxess were behind as I had been paying $200 less than what the monthly premium is since I was paying a "voluntary mortgage" with HSBC since my chap7 discharge in 2010. They put all the "voluntary mortgage" into an escrow account which amounted to $30K and then HSBC sold our loan to Caliber they paid off the taxes with that money held in escrow. So now in 2014 I had a part time job, hired a lawyer to renegociate our loan but in April of this year I lost my contract with this client and am now in full blown foreclosure and I find out that Caliber has been paying the back taxes from our escrowed amount but the City where we live is demanding full payment of $7K for last part of 2014 and this year by October 16 2015 or they are going to auction off our house. I live with my spouse who is disabled and I am still looking for work and am up for a job but I don't have $50K to pay towards the mortgage and the house is only valued at $117K and not $202K.

Caliber sucks and we are having big problems with them. Meanwhile nothing in our boro (houses) are selling.

Ridiculous

Reason of review: mortgage company is full of crooks.

Monetary Loss: $200000.

Preferred solution: Let the company propose a solution.

Caliber Home Loans Cons: Hate them, I did not like them.

if the houses are not selling in your area. Do not give up the house.

They can't do anything because they don't want you to leave. So go to your senator and have them put in for lower mortgage. Delay the process as much as possible. Then reapply.

Caliber is being sued left, right & center and you should join those class action suits. These people are the bottom feeders under the bigger feeders - banks like HSBC that owe the US GOV billions.

Do not leave your house. If they do force you out put homeless people in there.

THey can't get them out. and the homeless will *** up the house so they'll never be able to sell.

They are pulling same *** on me-first said missed 6 payments and had 10 days to pay but would never answer phone for us or lawer--only after 10 days did they respond--foreclosure. Lawer set court date-recd call today saying we never made a payment-in 33 *** months----I have all the receipts--A__holes
